Adopters must be 18 years of age or older
and present a valid driver's license or picture ID

Dog / Puppy Adoption Fees:
• Puppies (4 months & younger) $185.00
• Small / Lap Dogs (under 25 lbs) $185.00
• Dogs (5 months - 6 years) $145.00
• Senior Dogs (7 years +) $95.00
• Senior Citizen Adoption Fee $95.00
• Adoption of 2 or more dogs - $50 discount - (does not apply to the already-discounted senior citizen rate)

Cat / Kitten Adoption Fees:
• Kittens (5 months & younger) $115.00
• Cats (6 months - older) $95.00
• Senior Citizen Adoption Fee $75.00
• Adoption of 2 or more dogs - $25 discount - (does not apply to the already-discounted senior citizen rate)

Adoption fees include age appropriate immunizations, rabies, disease appropriate testing, deworming, internal & external parasite prevention, spay/neuter, microchip & registration, training DVD, 5 lb. bag of Science Diet food and 1 month of pet health insurance .

PAWS Columbus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent overpopulation and suffering of companion animals, to teach kindness and responsibility toward them, and to promote the remarkable capacity of pets to enrich human lives through pet-assisted therapy programs.  We work in partnership with the City of Columbus to enhance and supplement the services offered by Animal Care and Control, reduce the need for euthanasia of unwanted animals because of severe pet overpopulation and find a loving and compatible forever home for every adoptable animal.  PAWS is supported by private contributions from the citizens of our community.  We are People Helping Animals, Animals Helping People.
